Virunga (Feature film, Co-Film Editor). 2015 Oscar nominated feature documentary, executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio. In the forested depths of eastern Congo lies Virunga National Park, one of the most bio-diverse places in the world and home to the last of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. A small and embattled team of park rangers protect this UNESCO world heritage site from armed militia, poachers and the dark forces struggling to control Congo's rich natural resources. When the newly formed M23 rebel group declares war, a new conflict threatens the lives and stability of everyone and everything they've worked so hard to protect.
Skateistan (Documentary short). Sundance nominated, beautiful and moving short film that follows the lives of two young skateboarders from Afghanistan who attend the Skateistan project. Shot on Super 16mm film in 2010 at the height of the war in Afghanistan, the film juxtaposes the harsh reality of life in Kabul with the hopes and ambitions of the country’s children.
Skateistan has been officially selected into over 80 film festivals worldwide including: Sundance Film Festival 2011, SXSW Film Festival 2011, Sheffield Doc/Fest 2010, Full Frame Film Festival 2011, and the One World Human Rights Film Festival 2011.
